GO_GLE - Aliens abduct famous vowel!
Several items of interest floating to the top of the collective awareness the past couple days:
First, did you see the Google home page today?
Features one of the Os being abducted by a spacecraft! A 4th Kind encounter for Google!
It links out to a google search for "unexplained phenomenon". You can read the main article here.
Also - the past couple of days, stories about the new first lady of Japan (first lady? is that right? The wife of the new Prime Minister) and her account of being abducted and taken to Venus have been circulating.
Not sure about the trip to Venus...but the rest of her account seems credible and intriguing. Wonder what sort of effect it might have on global awareness of the abduction phenomenon? Sure to get people talking, but don't know if she's the advocate we're looking for...

Baby Alien in Mexico?
Recent video documenting an alien baby found by a farmer in Mexico.
Anyone heard more about this case?
And - how about the teeth on that thing?
We learn all the time that it's tough to trust what we see. Parts of the video seem a little questionable - but that thing certainly doesn't look like anything I've ever seen...

Latest Sightings: Updated
There are several web sources for the latest in sighting news. I like to check here regularly.
I would really love a site that could allow me to cross-reference these sightings with the dates and circumstances of unsolved missing persons reports. Anybody seen something like that?

FLASH: More UFO files released by British Gov
The British Government continues to de-classify its UFO files.
Here’s a great story summing up the latest and covering the program.
They’ve been slowly releasing documents over the past few years. We last discussed it in May.
You can review all of the documents, including the latest.
More details from the Guardian here. Be sure to check out the interactive sighting map.

More Than a Coincidence?
Seeing that trailer the other day got me thinking about the case that it’s based on.
The Tyler case from Nome is one I’ve mentioned before.
This is a piece I hadn’t see though.
And this case always makes me think of this piece I once stumbled across, about the abnormally high number of missing – more like vanished – people around Dr. Tyler’s home town of Nome.

District 9 Review
You know I went to see District 9 over the weekend. An interesting and entertaining bit of cinema, but mostly fantasy.
More of an action movie than anything, and certainly not very informative in terms of what people who have actually interacted with visitors have experienced.
The verdict – worth seeing if you like cool guns, but don’t expect to learn much about how aliens visit and contact Earth.
Here’s the trailer
Also, if you haven’t seen the short film that led to the movie, here’s it is:

Back to Alaska
Just to refresh you on some of what’s been going on in Alaska.
I’ve touched on the topic on several occasions. After seeing the preview for 4th Kind yesterday I wanted to revisit the some of the stuff I’ve found about Nome and the Tyler incidents.
Looks like I wasn’t the only trying to connect the dots in these cases…
